Vidun Table

Posted by Lance Cohen on 14th October 2017

This inspired piece of luxury Italian furniture was designed by design heavyweight Vico Magistretti in 1987 and was the first piece to be produced under the ‘edizioni De Padova’ label. An iconic piece with lots of sentimental value and history, it also has huge design cudos. Made from solid birch wood, Vidun translated from Milanese means ‘Big Screw’ and actually has a screw mechanism which allows you to adjust the height of the glass tabletop but screwing it up or down. A sculpture in its own right, it works perfectly with the glass top, which allows it to be viewed from all angles. Available in a range of different colours, this special Italian design piece is certainly one for the collectors.
